KineMON-5U2 Ultra-Bright Monitor

KineMON-5U2 is the ultra-bright 5″ monitor with new touch screen function dedicated to MAVO Edge. It features 2000nit Retina display, 5-inch display, 1080p full-HD and 16M colors, new touch screen function, to bring sharp and clear image on the beautiful display. Only one Kine Video Cord is needed for the monitor to get power supply and video signal from Kinefinity Cinema Cameras.

KineMON-5U2 is easy to be mounted on the camera body firmly by using appropriate accessories for different needs.

The ultra-bright 5-inch monitor KineMON-5U2 supports the global touch screen. You can quickly adjust eight parameters such as FPS, shutter, ISO, etc. by simply clicking the selected area of the monitor interface with your hand. You can adjust all parameters of the camera combined with the MENU, Playback and Wheel buttons.

KineMON-5U2 processes HD video on a whole-new DirectClear platform. DirectClear adopts powerful FPGA with low power consumption as basic framework to optimize image processing specially.

Re-designed monitor plus full lamination screen with tempered glass. With full tempered glass in front of the monitor, the screen gets better protection with high screen ratio. The case is made of rugged milled aluminum for better heat dissipation. Its surface process is more exquisite than old version KineMON-5L.

KineMON-5U2 has a standard 1/4″ threaded hole and two pin-holes at the bottom to fasten itself firmly to camera in any case, while most other monitors have only one 1/4″ threaded hole.

KineMON-5U2 is able to work directly in indoors or outdoors with its 2000nit high brightness screen. Even with direct sunlight, indie filmmakers is also able to check the composition and exposure as normal. The whole Kinefinity camera system is more flexible to create works by slim and lightweight KineMON-5U2 with full frame MAVO LF.

The ultra-bright monitor also adopts OCR Full Lamination crafts with high strength and transmissivity tempered glass to bring higher light transmission and lower light reflection, thus the image brightness is more clear under sunlight with its brightness improved. Moreover, there is grease-proofing AF Coating on glass surface, more cleanable and convenient.

KAs a monitor for cinema camera, the spec of LCD panel is superior: 16M colors (RGB 24-bit depth), 100% Rec.709 Gamut, 1920×1080 physical resolution (441ppi), 1000:1 contrast ratio, full viewing angle and LED back-illumination. High standard Retina display ensures sharp and clear image.

The new generation KineMAG SSD, KineMAG Nano 1TB is exclusively designed for MAVO Edge 8K. The KineMAG Nano is composed of KineMAG Nano Body and an M.2¹ 2280 SSD using NVMe² protocol, with a transfer speed up to 10Gbps, which greatly improves the freedom of high resolution and frame rate encoding while the size of NVMe M.2 SSD is significantly smaller compared to that of the SATA SSD. Two KineMAG Nano can be inserted into the highly integrated MAVO Edge 8K, which brings advantages, such as backup recording, relay recording, and other possibilities.

Two high-speed ports are fitted into the KineMAG Nano: a robust camera port that records the footage from MAVO Edge 8K to KineMAG Nano, and a universal USB-C³ port that offloads and backs up the data to the workstation. The USB-C port supports the USB3.1 Gen2 protocol, which allows the KineMAG Nano to offload data to the workstation at a cutting-edge speed of 10Gbps without a dedicated SSD reader.

KineMAG Nano has a built-in NVMe M.2 1TB SSD that is specially optimized, which gives the KineMAG Nano two superior safety features: Read-only and RAID 5⁴, which improves the safeness and robustness of the KineMAG Nano while copying or writing to the SSD at a blazing fast speed in the camera, allowing you to create contents without worrying about the safety of the SSD.

PD Hybrid Dual Charger is a newest rapid dual charger based on PD protocol. Its greatest strength is automatically identifying and rapidly charging the NP-F and BP-U batteries at one time without extra settings. Featured with max charge power 60W, the dual-slot charger has a great collaboration with 65W PD Power Adapter. In this case, charging two GripBAT 4S 52Wh to 80% only takes 90 mins and charging two GripBAT 2S 26Wh to 80% only takes 60 mins, 2~4 times faster than the regular charger. It weighs only 61g, smart and portable to use.

Extensive Compatibility

PD Hybrid Dual Charger best matches 64W PD Power Adapter. Thanks to the broad support and application of PD protocol, the hybrid charger can be used with most charging plug or AC Power Adapter that support PD protocol in the market, such as 61W or 30W AC Power Adapter with PD type-c port from Apple Inc. You can even use Kinefinity PD KineBAT 75/150 or Apple Macbook Pro/Air USB-C with PD Hybrid Dual Charger to charge BP-U30/NP-F550 batteries.
